Who does FMCSA apply to?
Any company that has a Commercial Motor Vehicle (Trucking or Passenger (Limo/Bus), must comply to FMCSA’s rules as long as their vehicle is over 10,001 lbs.
– When does FMCSA apply?
• A vehicle with the gross weight of 10,000 lb, or more must comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Vehicles designed to transport 9-15 or 16+ passengers, including the driver.
• Any sized vehicle that is used to transport hazardous materials.
