    Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse Registration

    By J Spangenberg | News | 0 comment | 16 December, 2019 |

We are aware that the process of creating an account with the USDOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse is very confusing.  We will make every attempt to try to assist you and guide you through the process but please understand this is also all new to us as well.

The first step is, you are required to create a USDOT portal account. If you obtained your USDOT over 3 years ago, you will have to create a portal account. If your USDOT number was obtained within the last year or two, you will already have a USDOT portal account. If TRANS-COM obtained your USDOT number, please call and ask to speak with Debbie, Carol, or Ian, and we will assist you with the sign on information for your portal account. We will only have the “sign on” information if we obtained the USDOT number for your company and as stated it would have been within the last year or two.

Once your portal account set up, you will then go onto the link to set up your Clearinghouse account.  We cannot do this for you as each company is required to complete using your email account.  Once you set up your clearinghouse account you will be asked to fund the account by choosing plan according to how many drivers you employ.

This is all you will need to do at this point. Once your account is set up please contact TRANS-COM and speak with Michael Ferrugiari. He will send you an invite (which you will need to accept) to see if we can link to your account and handle the pre-employ and yearly driver queries for your company.

Attached are login sheet instructions, to create a portal account.
